Yod Chinsupakul is the CEO and Co-founder of LINE MAN Wongnai, one of Thailand’s largest tech startups. He studied Computer Engineering at Chulalongkorn University, then worked as a Product Support Manager at Thomson Reuters before pursuing his MBA at UCLA Anderson School of Management in the U.S., where using Yelp regularly inspired him to build a similar platform back in Thailand.
In 2010, he co-founded Wongnai with three university friends as a restaurant review platform that filled a gap in the Thai market. With the increasing adoption of smartphones in Thailand, Wongnai grew quickly as more people turned to their phones to discover and review restaurants.
A decade later, Wongnai merged with LINE MAN, and Yod became CEO of the merger company. Under his leadership, LINE MAN Wongnai grew into one of Thailand’s few unicorn companies, building a platform that touches everyday life across food delivery, mart, messenger, ride hailing, payments and restaurant solutions. With a bigger vision to “Digitalize Thailand,” the company is now focused on bringing millions of local businesses online, strengthening digital infrastructure, and making life easier for Thais.
His work earned him two major recognitions in 2025:
- People of the Year award in Technology & Innovation from The People Awards
- CEO of the Year as Emerging Tech Leader by the Bangkok Post
